Second Semester Overview

All You Need to Know

January 28- February 14

Unit 5

Students will learn about Absolute Monarchs located in Europe. They will be completing a project on Absolute Monarchs. The second part of the unit will be focused on Enlightenment ideas.

Unit 6 Documents

In this unit, students will be learning about Revolutions that happened around the world. We will discuss the American Revolution, French Revolution, Haitian Revolution, and the Latin American Revolutions.

TECHNIQUE & THEORY UNIT

April 20- April 29

Unit 7

In this unit, students will be studying the Industrial Revolution and the impacts this had on the Modern World.

April 30- May 29

Unit 8

Students will be learning about the Imperialism that took place around the world. They will be completing a presentation on a country they are assigned and evaluating the impacts Imperialism had on that country.

June 1- June 23

Unit 9

The last unit of study will be on World War !. Students will be looking at the causes, significant battles, and lasting effects of the war.
